Privacy Policy

Version 1.1.1 · Effective 17 August 2026

SAT.UZ is an adaptive exam-preparation platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to SAT.UZ websites, learner applications, teacher and institution features, parent-linked views, and related support channels.

What we collect

  • Account and identity data: name, phone number (verified by SMS code), role (learner, parent, teacher, institution admin), and optional email or Telegram username.
  • Enrollment and profile data: exam track, target score, target exam date, class or institution linkage, and learner preferences.
  • Learning and assessment data: diagnostic responses, practice sessions, mock exams, timing data, question attempts, mistakes, mastery indicators, and readiness predictions.
  • AI companion data: prompts you submit, model responses, and conversation context used to provide explanations and study guidance.
  • Community and content data:posts, comments, reactions, public profile display fields, and moderation records for community Q&A.
  • Billing and transaction data: plan selections, order records, subscription status, and payment transaction references from payment providers.
  • Device, session, and security data: active sessions, device metadata, IP-derived security signals, and logs needed to keep accounts safe and detect misuse.

3. How we use your data

  • Create and secure your account, including phone verification.
  • Run core product features: level detection, personalized roadmap, adaptive daily plan, mastery tracking, and readiness estimates.
  • Deliver AI-assisted explanations and recommendations while keeping deterministic scoring and business rules authoritative.
  • Enable linked experiences for parents, teachers, and institutions according to role-based permissions.
  • Process subscriptions, manage plan access, and support refunds or billing inquiries where applicable.
  • Detect abuse, protect exam integrity, enforce platform policies, and improve reliability and performance.

4. Lawful basis and consent

  • We process data to provide the service you request when creating and using a SAT.UZ account.
  • We process some data for legitimate interests such as fraud prevention, exam integrity, service analytics, and product quality.
  • Where required, we request consent (for example, specific communications or optional features).

5. Sharing and disclosures

We do not sell personal data. We share limited data only when needed to operate SAT.UZ, including:

  • SMS/communication providers (verification and service messaging).
  • Cloud and infrastructure providers (hosting, storage, delivery).
  • AI model providers (to process prompts and generate responses).
  • Payment providers (to process subscriptions and transactions).
  • Analytics and advertising measurement: our website loads Google Analytics, the Meta pixel, and Yandex.Metrika, which record page views and send them to those companies. They are loaded on the public website; the mobile app does not include them.
  • Legal or regulatory authorities where disclosure is required by law or needed to protect users and the platform.

6. Public and linked visibility

  • Community Q&A and other public contributions may be visible to other users or visitors.
  • Parents linked through share-code workflows can view learner progress in read-only mode.
  • Teachers and institution admins can access learner data only within their assigned classes, rosters, or authorized organizational scope.

7. Data retention

  • We retain account and learning records while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide exam-preparation history and integrity controls.
  • Session and security logs are retained for shorter operational windows unless required for investigation or legal compliance.
  • When you request deletion, we delete or de-identify personal data unless retention is required by law, fraud-prevention needs, or unresolved disputes.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your data, including role-based access control, server-side authorization, revocable sessions, and monitoring for suspicious activity. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we continuously improve controls as the platform evolves.

9. Learners under 18

SAT.UZ is used by school-age learners, including minors. Parents or guardians may be involved through account-linking features. If you believe a minor has provided data in a way that violates applicable law, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

10. International processing

Depending on infrastructure and service providers, personal data may be processed outside your country. Where this occurs, we apply appropriate safeguards and contractual protections.

11. Your rights and choices

  • Access and review key account and study data in the platform.
  • Update profile information and learner preferences.
  • Review and revoke active sessions/devices.
  • Request account deletion and related data removal.
  • Contact us to ask for correction, export, objection, or other privacy requests applicable under local law.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as SAT.UZ features, payments, and integrations evolve. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
