Terms of Service
Version 0.2.0 · Effective 15 August 2026
SAT.UZ is an exam-preparation platform. These terms are the agreement between you and [OPERATING COMPANY — pending registration](“SAT.UZ”, “we”) covering the website, the mobile apps, and everything you can reach by signing in. Please read section 7 in particular — it explains what the platform does not promise.
1. Accepting these terms
Creating an account, or using SAT.UZ at all, means you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the platform.
2. Who can use SAT.UZ
SAT.UZ is built for school-age learners, and many of the people using it are under 18.
- If you are under 18, you may use SAT.UZ only with the knowledge and permission of a parent or guardian. By using it, you confirm you have that permission.
- A parent or guardian who links to a learner’s account accepts these terms on their own behalf as well. Linking is always confirmed by the learner in their own app — nobody is added to an account without the account holder agreeing.
- If you are paying for a subscription, you must be old enough to enter a contract, or have a parent or guardian do it for you.
3. Your account
- Give accurate registration details, and keep your phone number current — it is how you sign in and how you recover access.
- Your account is yours alone. Do not share your password or let someone else use your account; your learning data is only useful if it reflects your own work.
- Tell us promptly at hello@sat.uz if you think someone else has access to your account.
- Our support staff may open your account to reproduce a problem you have reported. When they do, it is recorded against their name, the session is time-limited, and it cannot be used to change your password or make purchases.
4. Subscriptions, trials and payment
- Some features are free. Others need a paid plan. What each plan includes is shown on the pricing and billing pages before you buy.
- Prices are in Uzbek soʻm (UZS) and include any taxes we are required to charge.
- Where a plan offers a free trial, the trial length is shown at checkout. Unless you cancel before it ends, the plan continues and payment is taken.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- Payment is handled by our payment provider. We do not receive or store your card details.
- We may change prices. A change never affects a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before it applies to a renewal.
5. Cancelling and refunds
- You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds are handled case by case. Write to hello@sat.uz and tell us what happened. Refunds are processed manually, so allow a few working days.
- Nothing here limits rights you have under Uzbek consumer law.
6. Acceptable use
Most of these exist to keep the question bank usable and the community worth reading.
- Do not copy, scrape, republish or resell our questions, passages, explanations or learning materials.
- Do not share, sell or publish mock exam or diagnostic content, and do not use the platform to help anyone cheat in a real examination.
- Do not attempt to bypass exam timing or integrity controls, or to access accounts, classes or institutions that are not yours.
- Do not post abusive, harassing, dishonest or unlawful content, and do not impersonate anyone.
- Do not probe, overload or interfere with the service, or use automated tools to extract data from it.
7. What SAT.UZ does and does not promise
This section matters more than any other, so it is written plainly.
- Scores shown here are estimates. Diagnostic and mock exam results are approximations produced by our own model. They are not official results and are not produced by, checked by, or equivalent to the body that administers the real examination.
- We do not guarantee any score or outcome. Readiness predictions, projected bands and study-time estimates are informational. No result on this platform promises a result on exam day, and no plan guarantees admission anywhere.
- The AI companion can be wrong. It is a study aid, not a teacher and not an authority. Check anything important against your own materials.
- Content is added and corrected over time. We may change, add or remove features, and we may retire a feature that is not working.
- We aim to keep SAT.UZ available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Content — ours and yours
- The platform, its questions, explanations, materials and software are owned by us or our licensors. Your subscription is permission to use them for your own study, not a transfer of ownership.
- What you write stays yours. By posting a question, answer, comment or article, you give us permission to host, display and distribute it as part of the service.
- Community questions and blog articles are public. They can be read by anyone, including people who are not signed in, and they can appear in search engines. Do not post anything you would not want read publicly.
- Content that is reported and found to break these terms may be hidden. Hidden content stays visible to its author and to moderators.
9. Teachers, learning centres and parents
- A teacher or learning centre using SAT.UZ with their students is responsible for having the right to involve those students, including any permission needed from a parent or guardian.
- Teachers and centre staff see the learning progress of students in their classes. Linked parents see a read-only view of their own child.
- Questions and tests you author remain subject to section 8.
10. Suspending or closing an account
- You can close your account from your settings at any time.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that we are legally required to act on, or that is being used in a way that harms other users or the platform.
- Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right first.
- What happens to your data afterwards is described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Liability
We are responsible for what a platform like this is reasonably responsible for, and we do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Beyond that, we are not liable for examination results, admission decisions, lost study time, or any loss that was not a foreseeable consequence of us failing to provide the service. Where liability can be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform changes. Every version carries a version number and an effective date, shown at the top of this page. If a change materially affects your rights — what we collect, what you pay, or what you are allowed to do — we will tell registered users before it takes effect. Continuing to use SAT.UZ after that means you accept the new version.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and disputes fall to the courts of Uzbekistan. If something goes wrong, please write to us first — most problems are quicker to fix directly.
14. Trademarks
SAT® is a trademark registered by the College Board, which is not affiliated with, and does not endorse, SAT.UZ. Other examination names are the trademarks of the bodies that administer them. We refer to them only to describe what our preparation material is for.
